
Gregory Martin is the author of the memoir, Stories for Boys, a Barnes & Noble Discover Great New Writers pick and a SEATTLE READS one city, one book selection. Martin’s first book, Mountain City was a New York Times Notable Book and featured as one of ten “Larger-Than-Life Memoirs” on NPR’s Morning Edition. His essays have appeared in The Sun, Image, The Missouri Review, The Kenyon Review, North American Review, and The American Scholar, among other publications. He’s received a Washington State Book Award, a Silver Pen Award from the Nevada Writer’s Hall of Fame, and an Outstanding Teacher of the Year Award from the University of New Mexico. He lives in Albuquerque and teaches in UNM’s creative writing program.
